GREC: Recorder – Zero Tolerance Policy on Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
GREC: Recorder is deeply committed to combating the spread of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which includes media, text, illustrated, or computer-generated images.
Any content that features or depicts a child (real, fictional, or animated) or promotes child sexual exploitation is strictly forbidden on our platform and constitutes a severe violation of our Terms of Service. Written content—including, but not limited to, comments, content titles, descriptions, messages, usernames, or profile bios—that promotes, references, or alludes to the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child is also strictly prohibited.
Users are solely responsible for the content they record, store, or share using the GREC: Recorder app. The app operates passively and does not scan, monitor, or analyze any content without explicit user action. GREC: Recorder functions as a technical intermediary, providing infrastructure for data recording, transmission, and storage. Therefore, full responsibility for the legality, privacy compliance, and adherence to other legal norms of the recorded content lies solely with the user.
For the purposes of this policy, a child is defined as any person under eighteen (18) years of age.
We cooperate with law enforcement authorities when required and may provide information, including user data and activity logs, in connection with investigations involving child sexual abuse material, in accordance with applicable laws and legal processes. We may report all apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), a nonprofit organization that operates a centralized clearinghouse for reporting incidents of online child exploitation. NCMEC makes these reports available to appropriate law enforcement agencies globally.
While some bad actors seek to exploit advancements in technology, we believe that robust, effective policies—combined with global collaboration and clear enforcement practices—are essential to preventing and reducing the spread of online abuse.
If you encounter child sexual abuse material on the GREC: Recorder app, please report it to us immediately at [email protected].
Anyone can report potential violations of this policy.
All complaints and reports submitted to GREC: Recorder are handled confidentially. Reports may be reviewed by automated systems designed to detect potential violations. While we strive for accuracy, these systems may occasionally produce false positives or miss certain violations. No human moderation or content scanning occurs unless legally required or explicitly requested. GREC: Recorder does not actively monitor or scan user content. If you believe a child is in imminent danger, please also alert your local law enforcement authorities immediately.
